The Question Mark Police Department is taking a unique approach to community engagement with the launch of the Hard Rock Record Enthusiast Meet-Up. Spearheaded by Officer Ron Dublowski, this new initiative is part of a broader community outreach program established by the department last year in response to public outcry following the unsolved death of Abigail Flynn and several other, high-profile blunders like the Police Department’s Fourth of July float crashing into Professor Chik N Crunch two months ago.
Police Chief Gus Holt expressed his support for the new program: "Engaging with our community is a top priority. Initiatives like Ronny’s not only bring us closer to the people we serve but also create a shared space for enjoyment and understanding. It's about building bridges and fostering positive relationships."
Officer Dublowski, a self-proclaimed hard rock aficionado, is very enthusiastic about the meet-up. In his words, "I can't wait to dive into discussions about KISS, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Aerosmith, Van Halen, Guns N' Roses, Def Leppard, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Rush, maybe Skynyrd, you know, and others. It's going to be a great way to connect with fellow hard rock fans and other citizens in the community." Officer Dublowski then turned and chased after his squad car, which had been left in neutral.
The Hard Rock Record Enthusiast Meet-Up aims to create a relaxed, engaging atmosphere where community members can bond over their love for music. This initiative is part of the department's ongoing efforts to strengthen community ties and build trust through shared interests and positive interactions.
